It kinda makes you think about two things at once, the action unfolding and the story being told. I think she was trying to connect them loosly. Documentary is a fake eggagerated interpretation of these people. It was early on documentaries so its impressive that they already had parodies of documentaries. He was kinda synical in a way, also giving his own interpretation of these people, eggaerating the tradgedy. This relates to the other film we just watched right before this byhow the picture and the voice doesn"t really match each other, there is a disconnect. This is an example of how it is meant to be intentional because it is a parody.
