Human hunting of baleen whales: pollock may have increased as plankton increased. Decline in oily fish leads to decline in stellar sea lion and harbor seal population. Seals and sea lions are the main food source for some killer whale groups. Top tropic level limits size of trophic level they consume. The world is green so herbivores are not depleting all of the plants, meaning that something else most be stabilizing things from the top. Resource abundance at the lower trophic level determines the abundance of individuals at the higher levels. World is prickly and tastes bad hypothesis.
