There are 3 types of organizations: for-profit: to make 19814$ ex: walmart, subway, non-profit: offer services ex: vt, goodwill, humane society, mutual- benefit: advance interests for a group of members. *are there to help the members but the members are also a resource of the organizations. This can be non or for profit, it depends on the organization. The difference between non- profit and for profit is that some people on for- profit they have a motivation to serve for 19814$. Non -profit does the job for the cause. Management: the pursuit of organizational goals efficiently and effectively. Management is the art of getting things done through people and process of efficiently and effectively! Focus on the effectiveness then go with efficiently! Planning select goals and ways to attain them.
