National corporation is a large corporation catering to automotive and aircraft manufacturers. The company produces specialty machines, components and tools and is divided into sections according to its productions. The tools division produced special tools and regular tools. Percentage of special tools had increased from 5 percent to 10 percent in the last five years. Jeff who was the head of the engineering department was responsible for purchasing the capital equipment and selecting the method to produce or manufacture the products. Also jeff is responsible to assign a project to the appropriate section after which the project engineer takes care of it till the very end until its completion. Project engineer plays a key role in the designing the product. Working out on any problems is done by interacting with other departments. The chief engineer approaches the vice-president incase the project engineer needs to get commitments from other departments such as time study, product design, productions or other areas.
