STAT 2160 Lecture 1: STATS Proposal project
Document Summary
This research is important due to the fact that many western students have a part time job. Finding out the correlation between working hours and overall gpa can determine whether having other obligations, much like a job, impacts student grades in college. We will be using a combination of primary and secondary data. Venturing out and gathering data through mediums such as facebook and outlook email, we will also be conducting an in-class survey as well. These variables relate to our research in terms of different scenarios and factors that could potentially harm or have no effect at all on a student"s gpa.
