Extreme emotional highs and lows -- when things are good, they"re really good, but when they are not good, they are really bad. I"ve called him twice and he hasn"t responded -- i think this is it, this is the end. I"ve known him for two days and we"re in love. Waver between being clingy and angry at partner. When they are not with the partner, they come up with a bunch of things that they could be doing and they get angry, despite these being completely irrational. Anxious person is aware that this is irrational, but the anger has still built up and this emerges when the partner gets back. Say that falling in love is easy, and that love doesn"t last (ambivalence)
