We are more geographically widespread than any other kind of primate living in either the past or the present. It"s uncommon to find any kind of animal with such widespread global geographic distribution that belongs to a single species, yet we humans do. As a result of the emphasis on the brain, we see the following changes: lots of brain globular cranial vault (i. e. , globe-like, the cranial vault is expanded in a number of regions. But one of the regions that we most easily recognize on a modern human is the forehead. This corresponds to the development of the frontal lobe: not so much face (gracile, reduced brow ridges, vertical frontal, orthognathic, reduced masticatory apparatus because modern humans have become very good at processing our food items.
