Statement: Vaccines have been a victim of their own success. They have been so effective at preventing many serious diseases that the population is no longer "scared" enough of diseases such as measles and pertussis to see the need for vaccinations.
Do you belive that people should be allowed to decide whether to vaccinate themselves or their children? Why or why not?

If a person were to refuse vaccinations, and therefore transmit a deadly disease to a susceptible person such as a young infant, should the unvaccinated person be criminally prosecuted? Why or why not?
