As we know and as per studies conducted ,scientists and reachers have observed that when the zone of Inhibition is greater than or equal to the size of the standard inhibition zone , the microorganism will be sensitive to the antibiotic and on the contrary when the zone of Inhibition is lesser or smaller than the standard size the microorganism will be resistant to the antibiotic.In the disc diffusion test for bacteria A, the inhibition diameter for penicillin is 2 cm, which is greater than the inhibition diameter of vancomycin, which is 0.5 cm. Bacteria A will therefore be sensitive to pencillin.Antibiotic Pencillin is likely to be more effective in killing bacteria A.
