Please help. By the first explanation I thought if I drop the urine would be ok but Iâm still missing one answer I am guessing then it would be the last two but Iâm uncertain Exocytosis is one of the processes living organisms use to move molecules Choose all the examples of exocytosis. A single-celled eukaryotic organism excretes digestive waste into the surrounding water Urine leaves a mouse's bladder and soaks into the soil. A nerve cell releases peptides used as messengers into the extracellular space. Oxygen moves out of a red blood cell through the cell membrane. Proteins used as hormones are moved out of the cell in which they were manufactured There is one more correct answer choice The food vacuoles in paramecia and the synaptic vesicles in nerve cells are both small sacks made of plasma membrane. They contain molecules that must leave the cell. Where else might sacks similar to these be made? Exocytosis is one of the processes living organisms use to move molecules. Choose all the examples of exocytosis. single-celled eukaryotic organism excretes digestive waste into the surrounding water. Urine leaves a mouse's bladder and soaks into the soil. A nerve cell releases peptides used as messengers into the extracellular space. Oxygen moves out of a red blood cell through the cell membrane. Proteins used as hormones are moved out of the cell in which they were manufactured Two of your choices are correct. There is no membrane to cross when urine leaves a mouse's bladder, so exocytosis could not be used. Cells, such as nerve cells and paramecia, would need to use exocytosis to move la molecules across their membranes, though. What other situation would require exocytosis Which of the following are examples of a cellular response to an extracellular signal? decreased transcription of a target gene signal transduction pathway regulation of cellular metabolism change in membrane potential One of your choices is incorrect. Signal molecules are secreted by cells and bind to receptors on target cells. Once the target cell receives the signal, signal transduction occurs. Although signal transduction occurs following the binding of a signal molecule to its receptor, it is not considered a cellular response. A cellular response is triggered following signal transduction. about us careersprivacy policy terms of use contact us help Which statements below accurately describe a type of cell division and the type of cells it produces? Binary fission produces two identical prokaryotic cells Meiosis produces four haploid daughter cells Mitosis produces two genetically identical daughter cells Asexual reproduction produces two genetically unique cells
