Introduction
A quintile is a fifth (20%) of the total population. It's a population or sample divided into five equal groups based on the values of a single variable in statistics. The fourth quintile is from 60 to 80 percent, and the fifth quintile is from 80 to 100 percent (also called the top quintile).
