Introduction

Poverty is a social cause and hence to eradicate it, there is a number of social programs and aids to assist people with low income. Those programs are all categorized as a safety net. However, some of the critics argue that the programs that are designed to help the poor indeed put them into the poverty trap.  A poverty trap refers to a situation where poor people find it difficult to come out of their poverty crisis.
