Given information

We have given that a 1500-nF capacitor with circular parallel plates 2.0 cm in diameter is accumulating charge at the rate of 32.0 mC/s at some instant in time.

Step-by-step explanation

Step 1.

The rate of charge accumulation is the displacement current of capacitor. As we have to calculate the induced magnetic field outside the capacitor we will use the formula of the magnetic field due to a long wire.

So the induced magnetic field is :

Here B is magnetic field, I is current, R is distance at which we have to calculate the magnetic field and is  permeability of free space,  .

Before substituting the values in formula we have to convert distance in meter, so distance is 0.10 m.
