The two masses in the Atwood's machine shown in the figure areinitially at rest at the same height. After they are released, thelarge mass, m_2, falls through a height h and hits the floor, andthe small mass, m_2, rises through a height h.

A) Find the speed of the masses just before m_2 lands, giving youranswer in terms of m_1, m_2, g, and h. Assume the ropes and pulleyhave negligible mass and that friction can be ignored.
Express your answer in terms of the variables m_1, m_2, h, andappropriate constants.
B) Evaluate your answer to part A for the case h_v = 1.1 m, m_1v =3.4 kg, and m_2v = 4.8 kg.
