All things had immortal spirits, always around and one of the spirits the huron believed in. They could bring good or bad fortune to people. Tobacco was offered to many of them. The most important of these spirits was the sky. Specialists who claimed to control the weather, predict the future, bring luck or heal the sick. They obtained most of their powers through visions or dreams. Natural (treated with herbs, incisions, sweating, etc) Witchcraft (treated by removing spells from a sick person"s body)
