People with paraphilias have recurrent, intense sexually arousing fantasies, sexual urges or behaibiours that involve nonhuman objects, the suffering or humiliation of oneself or their partner, children or other nonconsenting persons. These patterns must last atleast 6 months for a diagnosis. Range for fetishist objects are hair, ears, hands, underclothes, shoes, perfume, etc. Theories of the etiology of fetishism emphasize importance of classical conditioning and social learning. Onset of transvestic fetishism is during adolescence and involves masturbation while wearing female clothing or undergarments autogynephilia is the paraphilic sexual arousal by the thought or fantasy of being a woman. 87% of cross dressing men were heterosexual, 83% married and 60% married at the time of the survey. Voyeurism, or peeping toms are primarily young men who view the body of an attractive female as sexually stimulating without the trauma of being rejected by approaching the female. Exhibitionism is indecent exposure in inappropriate circumstances without consent.
