Document Summary
Release hormones (=second messengers) in response to physiological stimuli. They produce corticosteroids such as cortisol, aldosterone, androgens as well as medullay hormones, the catecholamines. The catecholamines have important role to play in flight and flight response. Adrenal glands divided in to two anatomically and functionally distinct regions. The medualls is the interior portion of the adrenal gland. It produces two hormoesn whciha re highly important in fight and flight responses. These hormones are adrenalien and noradrenalien or epinephrine or norepinephrine.
