Affect cell adhesion, cell polarity, cell fate, cell differentiation, epithelial morphogenesis, and body axis. Lm-111 (lm-1) and lm-511 (lm-10) are expressed very early during embryogenesis. Laminin is required for bl assembly: knockout of nidogens, perlecan, agrin, type iv and xvii collagens leads to defects in stability and signalling. Dn-fgfr: dn-fgfr (e. g. , no kinase activity) outcompetes the wildtype fgfr and leads to loss of signalling events downstream, loss of laminin-1 and collagen iv expression. Laminin is completely absent: laminin-1 and collagen iv are dependent on fgfr signaling. Lm-511 regulates tumour invasion and metastasis: tumour growth.
