A critique of something for not being something else: A thoughtful examination fo accuracy, relevance, viewpoint/biases, cause and effect, and (where appropriate) connections with other texts or with realworld events. It may call on: logical argument, examples, evidence or arguments (for or against) from other research. Proper critical analysis comes form understanding what someone is trying to convey and judging (a) whether it"s really an idea that must or should be conveyed, and (b) whether the author has conveyed it clearly and effectively.
