Eesa10 lecture: global climate change and human health. Climate is warming up and there are reasons of why and how it happen. No debate between scientists and public, used to be a question, now we are more convinced that climate is changing and this isn"t an unusual thing, it is normal. There are period of glaciations when everything was covered with ice and between the glaciations period there is a period called interglacial period. End of the last ice age around 10 000 years ago. Energy from the sun warms the earth"s surface and some energy radiates back towards space. Water vapour (clouds), carbon dioxide, and other gases are heated. Most important green house gases are water vapour, carbon dioxide, methane, and dinitrogen oxide. All data shows that from the beginning of century, concentration of all greenhouse gases have increased. On second graph, that concentration of greenhouse gases is directly proportional to the temperature.
