Phlegmatic (calm, listless) - excess of phlegm: attributed each temperament to a predominance of one of the bodily humors yellow bile, black bile, blood, and phlegm. Others seek associations between physique and indices of temperament: fat people = jolly, lazy; thin people = morose, sensitive. One of the most important typologies is: introverts and extraverts.
