Environment is everything around you and it affects your health. Your genetics is important to your health, it"s a disposition and is different from everyone else. Air, water, soil are the most important environmental compartments. Atmosphere: industrial revolution is greatest impact on environment, it caused many cities to be extremely polluted. Biosphere: affected by human interruption (industrialization), many animals became extinct and lost their homes. Overpopulation and consumption causes more use of plastics and garbage, etc. We do studies but we can also look at other species and their health. Many possible reasons like increasing in uv, increase in predators, etc. 25% of preventable diseases have environmental factors associated with them. Diarrhea and respiratory infections dominant the environmental diseases for many years. African american, hispanic have lower income than whites and they live in areas of poor air quality, this thus increase in greater rate of asthma. Biological hazard: like bacteria, animals, viruses, etc.
