Special designation: someone who would come to bring back justice, get rid of evil, obedient. Hessianic hopes- wishing a messiah would come and help out: references a coming of a messiah; seen in isaiah. Not a matter of life or death, but eternal life: eternal life gets referenced to a type of paradise. Eschatology- moment in the future where the world is completely gone and you go to either heaven or hell. Jesus was not exceptional at the time; many people like him. Little pieces of things that go together to make a big picture.
