Started class with table pictionary - great for review. Lesson plans help structure classroom management and how students want to learn. Keep in mind: what students need to learn (curriculum), how will i know if the ve learned it? (assessment and evaluation) how will i facilitate that learning (lesson designing) Prior knowledge - what do the students need to know or be able to do before lesson. Inclusive classroom - race, culture, etc. every learner has a fair opportunity to learn. Esl learners, social class/poverty, learning styles, gender and sexual orientation. you are removing barriers that may impede student learning. Classroom management -- try different seating arrangement etc. Overall expectations in a course - your must meet all overall expectations in a course! Can use these to create themes if doing thematic teaching. Speci c expectation in a course - these are to the teacher s discretion.
