What is a teacher"s stand on physical contact with students: only when necessary -> when kids are fighting, you can use only as much force as necessary, mbci training. Techniques that are sanctioned by the board -> known and documented, so that when you report the incident, there"s no confusion over what you did: restraint as a last resort. Procedure for picking up kids: for separated families, there has to be legal documentation stating that someone has custody. And then you have to call the primary caregiver to make sure. You need court order + permission from primary caregiver: there has to be a list of people to whom kids are released. A child that is suspected to have been beaten: check their tone of voice -> are they joking, carry on a conversation to find out as much as you can. Report to the principal, and if it is severe, call child services.
