What are the legal dimensions of the program: not regulated by government; forces people to disclose whether or not their products were harvested sustainably. Fsc relies on third parties to do the certification who will then report to fsc; auditors also report to the fsc. In addition to the fsc, there are other forest certification schemes that aren"t operated by fsc.
