Grazers will come at night and eat the ants at the top of the grass blades. The lancet fluke is then able to get into the digestive tract of the grazer to hatch its eggs. Eggs pass out of the gi tract of grazer onto the grass and then pass onto slugs. Gets passed back onto the ants when ants pass on a slug"s path. They will challenge their predators instead of running and hiding. Needs to be inside the gi tract of felines to continue its life cycle.
