From medieval period, the chinese people had always showed their remarkable intelligence in the fields of technology, literature, and architecture. One of the greatest inventions of the chinese that fascinated me is their invention of printing. Chinese printing is known to be the first printing method ever introduced in the world. I have found the art of their printing process really impressive, thoughtful and innovative since it was introduced almost 500 years before the europeans". The use of woodblock printing was pretty simple and straightforward, and could originate more than 15000 printers. I believe the idea of stamping later became popular with the introduction of wood block printing process. Many other countries across the world gradually adopted the process because of its simplicity, and advanced the development of world civilization. The impact this invention had on the educational, political, economic, religious and literacy development of the world is simply incalculable.
