Influences on relationship development: proximity, attractiveness (matching hypothesis, similarity. Knapp"s staircase model- vangelisti model too-helped develop. Initiating (first meet someone), experimenting, intensifying, integrating, bonding (could be marriage) Differentiating, circumscribing (drawing boundaries), stagnating (not developing anymore), avoiding, terminating.
