The cells of a tissue are specialized and their structure enables them to perform a specific task; coordination contraction. Organ: made up of two or more types of tissue that together perform a specific task. Muscle tissue, the heart includes nervous, epithelial and connective tissue. The circulatory system, an organ system that the heart is a component. Organ system: consists of multiple organs that together perform a vital body function.
