Difficult for teachers to really say what they want: what you say can be leading, not giving your opinion right up front may not be the. Forms of discipline; progressive discipline : the consequence starts out small. Ex. working, first can be a verbal warning, after verbal you tend to get a written, then written plus something else, etc. If the student know the punishment is not as severe in the beginning then they will do it first and second time: you do as you"re told, and if you don"t then you"ll be punished . Teaching kids how to behave: accountability: Ex. if you don"t show up ontime for the test, you have less time readings. Discipline should have connection to what they did wrong: justice should be connected somehow on what we are trying to accomplish immoral and doesn"t really help. Restoration: making things right; making someone whole, restore partially what had happened before the crime.
