Almost everything in our world is copied for something: hyperreality we add things such as sound mixing to improve reality. Olympic people put in horse galloping sounds for us to hear while we watch the olympic equestrian events: gendered space a space where a certain gender is expected to be. (ex. A woman is expected to be seen in a kitchen) we see a space and already expect a certain gender to be there. We also know the behaviours of certain genders in sport. We don"t see caring and feminine characteristics present in contact sports. Hockey is a gendered space: performativity means there is no gender prior to its performance.
