Accumulation of judicial precedents that do not derive from specific pieces of legislation: contract law. Government in each jurisdiction creates special regulatory bodies to enforce compliance with the law and aid its interpretation: ex. Human rights commission, ministries of labour: develops legally binding rules called regulations and evaluate complaints. Laws present in every canadian jurisdiction that establishes minimum employee entitlements and set a limit on the maximum number of work permitted per week/day: wages, paid holidays, vacation, maternity, parenting, adopting, termination notice, overtime pay.
