Came up w/ order model and structural functionalism. Weber said that politics, culture and economics shape social relations. He said that class is based on economics and prestige. He believed the economy is shaped by ideology. He said we build organizations for convenience, but they end up ruling us. He believed that life is a competition for resources. We want to get on top, we aren"t cooperating, and we are forced to do so to survive. He was really into economics and said that that is what shapes us.
