Most famous items found were burial masks (many found by schliemann: gold leaf fitted tightly over the face of the deceased to suggest features, schliemann had thought he"d found agamemnon when he found the most famous mask. Nestor"s well-made cup; whoever drinks of this cup will be immediately seized by desire from fair- garlanded aphrodite (725-729), one of the first examples of greek inscriptions.
