Trained to respond, responsible to get involved, and authority to act. Both required/beneficial, and developed characteristics: 2: suspicion, cynicism, pessimism, loyalty, solidarity, secretiveness. Fit together because of certain processes that occur. Tendency to feel part of a close knit group common identity.
