2/3 of the party was under 40 years of age a young party. Visibility: the party was very visible and obvious because they were able to be mobile thanks to flying and driving from city and city, mass media (radio and to a lesser extent, film) They tried to get rid of class tensions and antagonisms, try to unite the white collar and blue collar workers. How does the nsdap go from a small party to a breakthrough big one: the depression. People already attracted to socialism, wanted to abandon parliamentary, militarization: the breakthrough, 1929-33. The emergency decrees were used often in years of 1930-33 because of the constant turnover of chancellors: election of july 1932. Even though, it was not a majority vote and were never elected to power. In novemeber there was another election but they dropped to around 33% When it starts to tail, many party members think they will not come to power.
