Research continues to show that following regular exercise program results in improved s-c/s-e: wide range of physical activity been investigated in terms of potential to impact people"s s-c/s-e. Causal link between physical self-perceptions and exercise not clearly established. Culture likely intervening variable, but little research been conducted that investigates culture, self, and physical activity. Body appearance component of physical self that most related to global s-e, but weak predictor of physical activity.
