Document Summary

Name the bone and the features, which are indicated in numbers. For b, c, 1 and 2 number the bones. A: pelvic gridle, which consist of the sacrum, coccyx, and os coxae. The sacrum curves inwards: os coxae (right) Iliac tuberosity & auricular surface is on the back of the ilium. The anterior side of the femur has the patellar surface (flat) You can also tell the posterior end by the linea aspera or the gluteal line. The femoral head faces medially/ greater trochanter faces laterally: patella. Place the patella flat with the apex pointing away from you and see which side it falls on, the patella is the that it falls on. This patella would be a left patella: tibia. The tibia is medial in relation to the fibula. The tibial tuberosity is anterior and the medial malleolus points medially. The ovular condyle (which is larger) is the medial condyle.
