Started elementary school, transferred in grade 3 -> bullying: small class, didn"t know what to do, refused parent"s help. Age 10, heard first voice in her head (told her to kill brother with scissors) Age 14, severely depressed and anxious (too paxil worked for 2 years) Age 16, admitted to hospital for crohn"s disease (inflammatory bowel: discharged, came in 2nd in her grade. Went to conference in b. c. , realized she was troubled and left feeling alone. Sent back to hamilton and went to an alternative high school. Sent back to psych ward with doctor for original bpd diagnosis: walked back to mcmaster, believed psychologist was in her room with gun to her roommate"s head. Was in hospital for 10 months -> placed in seclusion for being disruptive: doctors placed her on heavy dose antipsychotic. Discharged and given antipsychotic + mood stabilizer: higher doses -> could function but still heard voices sometimes.
