Plantar ligaments: plantar ligaments long ligament found on the plantar surface of the foot and there is a short one. It tightens the area: this muscle causes plantar flexion pulling to heel to keep the arch, kid tend to be flat footed when young and as they grow through more and more walking it forms an arch. Muscles: three types: skeletal, smooth and cardiac, smooth - around all internal cambers of the body which has fluid, cardiac - heart tissue. Motor unit: motor nerve which tells it to contract, all muscle fibers attached to it will contract when there is an inpluse from the motor nerve.
