MGTA36H3 Chapter 009: Management Communications - Chapter 009
Document Summary
Goal is to arrange the seating to suit both you as the presenter and your audience. If you are on-site, prepare by sitting in different parts of the room to make sure you can be seem from every chair. If you will be presenting to a large audience, have the room set up in a classroom or theater or crescent shape. These arrangements have audience in front of you and visual aids beside or behind you. If you will presenting to a group of 25 or fewer, and you anticipate interaction, a u or v shaped arrangement is preferable. If you will be speaking to a very small group, conference style works, with group sitting in either a circle, square, or at a conference table. Practice presentation in room where you will be giving it.
