Document Summary

In the following i will argue that libertarianism can lead to exploitation in terms of forced compliance and economic necessity. Libertarianism comes with the view that people are entitled to own themselves and the resources that they have produced. However, the problem arises when we look at people who do not have many resources and have to depend on the government for assistance. Since it restricts the self-determination of the resource less people, it makes them a resource for other people. They are limited to the jobs in which others bestow on them, they do not have very many choices. Libertarianism was meant to liberate people, making them feel like they are in charge of their own lives. People don"t seem to realize that if they do not have the resources that are needed to survive they can become exploited by many people in power.
