Euthanasia is a medical process of killing a patient to protect him or her from suffering more pain. It has been legalized in many countries from past few years. Practicing euthanasia is a very controversial issue because it is considered immoral. Since human life is priceless, it should be deal respectfully. Terminally ill patients need emotional support and motivation rather than euthanasia. It is unethical, immoral, and against any law; therefore, the right of euthanasia should not be given to the doctors to decide that who will die and who will live. First of all, a doctor"s duty is to protect his/her patients and to find any possible way to cure the pain. Furthermore, doctors should motivate the patients to strengthen them to fight with their diseases even if there is no chance to recover. Thus, it is the responsibility of the doctors to do the best they can to help people live and enjoy their lives (cavan 2000).
