Canada"s parliament consists of three parts; the queen, the senate, and the house of commons. These groups work together to make the laws for our country. We also learn about the cabinet directive on law-making and how it is the foundation document for the guide to making federal acts and regulations. It sets out the expectations of ministers and orients the activities of government officials. Process is also discussed; it follows the progress of a bill from its introduction in parliament and describes the supporting materials needed for each stage.
