Est in july 31 1919, the cnd wheat board (hereafter cnd wb) was meant to ease the transition from war to peacetime economy, and was popular with farmers. During this period much of the industrial world slipped back into the same recession that was occurring before the war. The cnd wb was meant to be a temporary thing but was so popular with small farming families that dominated the prairies that it remained until it was removed in the 21st century by the harper regime.
