(norfolk system) Aristocracy tried to put force on collectors to pass a law about having fences,gates to the agricultural lands. In 1870,english farmers were producing 300% more food. With the invention of steam engine, factories were established. Before 1760, manufacture of textile was done at home. There was new technology whih increased the productivity by the invention of spinning jenny. In 1779,samuel compton developed the spinning jenny to mule. By 1778, 20,000 members used it in britain. By 1800, cotton production became more popular in britain. 900 cotton spinning industries were seen in britain.
