What is a research design: a framework for the collection and analysis of data. It must meet certain criteria in order to produce useful results: research ethics must be considered when choosing a design. Choice of design: the type of design you choose depends on the kind of explanation you want. : the prevalence of suicide in a particular social group is a function of the level of integration individuals typically have in the group.
