Non-violence: 2 principal usages (1) ethic or principle; a spiritual imperative (2) strategy, applying nonviolent tactics to achieve specific ends. The strive is to become more & more non-violent each day (gandhi called for this as well) Argument: humans by nature are aggressive & violent * Avoiding injury to anything on earth, in thought, word & deed . It"s about being active & trying to make a change, without having to resort to the use of violence. The greatest force at the disposal of humanity . Both a means & an end: theme of love is very important, it"s not about romantic love, much deeper than that. Calls forth the greatest courage: freedom from will, hate & ill & an overflowing love for all.
