Niobe is boasting and is asking why isn"t she getting worshipped instead of latona: niobe goes on to belittle latona saying she only had 2 kids and she had 14. In the end, niobe is turned to stone and is whisked away to turkey and continues to weep in mourning. Laekia and the peasants: latona being excluded from the rest of the world, she wanders with her children. Juno is jealous of jupiter being the father and exiles her.
